Carrie Underwood - Carnival Ride Reviews

When I listened to the first album, I was impressed with her talent, but I like music that is upbeat and makes me want to dance. So I was a little cautious about this album. Most of her songs so far have been inspirational, but there were few songs of hers that make me smile. This album fixed that. Several of her songs are clever and have a faster beat. This album is very VERY country. Including lyrics like "The more boys I meet the more I love my dog" - Personally, I agree with this 100% :)  Some people say that she's screaming her songs, I feel that she's branching out into a bit more of...

I love music... especially country music. I love Carrie Underwood's. I find myself always listening to her songs in my car or where ever I am.

     I am a long time listener of carrie Underwood. I believe that this was not her best album. I think she is trying to stay in with the new sound but kind of lost who she really is as a singer. This is my first time writing a review about her. I feel that her voice has grown since american idol because she kind of sucked but now has redeemed herself. I think she must have literally been on a carnival ride when she wrote this or maybe just got off one and was so dizzy that she starting to write this weird album.

     I have nothing against her and I do believe she is an awesome singer...

Carrie Underwood's-Carnival Ride is a great album. I would recomend to both country and pop lovers both. I plan on giving this album to my mother, sister-in-law and aunts for christmas. ...............................................................................................................

Carrie Underwood's CD, Carnival Ride, is an exceptional musical experience.  It is family friendly and I can listen to it with my nine year old daughter, which can't be said about a lot of CDs right now, even those that are not "explicit". 

Her songs showcase her amazing talent and the subject matter spans several developmental stages from Last Name, which is about a drunken night out in Vegas ending in marriage to a stranger whose "Last Name" she doesn't even know to Just A Dream which is about a young girl who was supposed to get married to a soldier but instead is attending his funeral service...
