Carrie Underwood - Carnival Ride Review

When I listened to the first album, I was impressed with her talent, but I like music that is upbeat and makes me want to dance. So I was a little cautious about this album. Most of her songs so far have been inspirational, but there were few songs of hers that make me smile. This album fixed that. Several of her songs are clever and have a faster beat. This album is very VERY country. Including lyrics like "The more boys I meet the more I love my dog" - Personally, I agree with this 100% :)  Some people say that she's screaming her songs, I feel that she's branching out into a bit more of the rock/country mix. The different types of songs on this album do not detract from the power in her voice.
