For quite some time my husband and I ate at Outback, a restaurant next to Carrabba's in Independence. We never tried it, but fortunately, my daughter wanted an evening out together when her husband was involved in a sports activity and she chose Carrabba's. Since then we have dined there often. I wish I could say I'd tried a variety of dishes, but I love chicken bryan so much that I order it each time I go. The quantity is so large that I always take home enough for another meal. If you don't like goat's cheese, you might not like the dish. The sauce is out of this world, but it's sometimes... review »

Carrabba's is a causal but up-scale restaurant. There is always a wait before being seated but the food and service generally makes up for the time out front.
The menu offers a wide variety for kids to adults as well as good for you and not so good for you food items.
This restaurant is a little pricey but my family considers it a two-for-one since there is always enough food to take home for another meal.
The waiters and waitress's are attentive to their tables and have knowledge of the food and drinks prepared.

My family only eats at this restaurant when we are celebrating a special occasion. ...

Carrabba's is my all time favorite italian place to dine. I have eaten there several times for every event. In fact my anniversary is coming up and we have chosen Carrabba's. The bread is great, the chicken marsala is to die for, and they have great steaks. I have never eaten anything there that was not perfect. My only con is that the one in Independence is not open for lunch. However, the one off of Metcaf is!

I love their food. Better than Olive Garden but not better than Zio's. I got the talapia last time and it was soooo good!!!! Nice atmosphere. Very authentic italian. Appetizers are to die for. Lot's of different desserts to try. I really have nothing bad to say about them and i am a picky diner.

I worked for Carrabba's for 5 years and they are by far on of the best "chain" italian restuarants out there.  From the sauces to the salad dressing and everything in between they make everything fresh there.  They also have bery high standards of quality.

My mother LOVES this restaurant, so I have been there with her twice and have not liked it either time. The first time I ordered a spinach pasta meal, which is normally something I would like, but I was not impressed with Carabba's version. The second time I decided to play it safe and ordered a tomato pizza (not sure of the exact name) and it was served to me cold and was very bland tasting! I know that a lot of people really love this restaurant, but I personally think Zio's has much better food.
