You get the classic tourist stops: Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. All great places to relax and soak up warm weather when back home it's wintery cold. Yes, the stops have the tequila bars, cheap things to buy at a higher price than you'd find in most other Mexican cities or towns, but there are a great variety of land excursions that let you get away from that. The Sierra Madre tour in Mazatlan was beautiful, but dusty, bumpy and long - yes, I'd do it again. We're in our 50's and don't want to lay on a beach for hours, guzzle cocktails or play volleyball, but we found plenty to do. Carnival service was as expected, highly recommended.
