Carnival has some great packages! I highly recommend for families as they have entertainment just for kids and just for adults. When going on excursions make sure that you look at the website ahead of time for reservations and pricing. This way you can budget ahead of time for extras! You defintiely should pack your own beverages, there are some that are free onboard but they get old after awhile. YOu can purchase a drink card, but it is a bit expensive and doesn't cover alcohol. You will definitely get plenty of great stuff to eat at anytime with out any extra cost to you. Oh one more thing, if... review »

A sensational cruise and interesting Mexico

Going on a cruise is one of the best ways to travel, for the money.  Everything you need is right there.  Be careful, though, it is definitely VERY easy to eat way to much.  The food is SO excellent that you just won't be able to help yourself.  All of the entertainment is right there on the ship, too.  They have so many things to do that you won't be able to decide on what to do.  The broadway shows are amazing.  They have beautiful costumes and the music is wonderful.

The only other expense you may have is if you want to go on an excursion.  This isn't always easy to decide on, either. ...
