Most HelpfulThis was my third cruise I went with 3 others. One it was her first cruise ever. The other 2 were cruisers from another cruise line. We were ladies looking to have fun for a short time. WE DID! We chose this cruise for several reasons...one it was inexpensive, 4 days (that all the time we had) and...

Most HelpfulMy husband and I had never gone on a cruise before, so we didn't know what to expect. I cannot say enough good about this ship and its staff! Our formal dining room waiter was incredible and every staff member we encountered was friendly. We took a 4-night trip from Port Canaveral, FL to the Bahamas on this ship. If you take this cruise, I have only 2 suggestions: first, don't book 2 shore excursions in Nassau with less than 1 hour in between, and second, try not to book a room at the very back of the ship. We went snorkeling in Freeport (it was FABULOUS!) and did a glass bottom boat...
review »Sensation was our first cruise (for our Anniversary). It met out expectations for the most part. We enjoyed our trip immensely.
The moment we got to the port we were treated with VIP service. Our cabin was on the on Verandah Deck (V2). This was a Suite with a private balcony and twins that convert to king size bed (11). The views from the balcony were beautiful. Our bathroom was larger than I had expected. It had a nice sized shower, sink and toilet. Overall I would rank this room at a "10".
The Staff on the boat was super - well beyond our expectations. (Every time we messed up the...
review »The family enjoyed the Carnival Sensation cruise to the Bahamas. There were lots of things to do. The kids camp carnival for ages 9-11 could use a little revamping my child is 11 and was very bored with the childest things offered. They were able to hang out with the older group of kids and then it become more enjoyable for them.
The spa experience was awful I ordered several services and with each one I given a hard sales pitch to order the products and that is not why I ordered the service just wanted to relax and enjoy it. I will not use the spa again. I had always dreamed of getting a spa treatment,...
review »This was our family's second cruise. We went to Calica and Cozumel. Everything on the ship was great. The staff was wonderful. I forgot my hair conditioner, so the staff gave me extra samples that they leave in the rooms for you. They asked us daily if there was anything they could get for us. Also, the pools are closed alot due to kids getting sick in them, but the staff empty the pool, clean it and get it filled quickly. My husband and daughter had a blast in the pool slide.
When we ported at Calica, we took a cab to Playa del Carmen and went to the public beach near McDonalds. ...
review »I recently got back from a Carnival cruise aboard the Carnival Sensation. I traveled with quite a few friends to Nassau, Bahamas last month for my 30th birthday. We arrived at Port Canaveral on Thursday at about lunchtime and enjoyed a great afternoon by the pool with a nice cool and festive beverage and great sunshine. The Miami vices are my favorite drink aboard Carnival cruises - its a mixture of Pina Colada and Strawberry Daquiri. That night we had a great dinner with wonderful food as usual - The Chocolate Melting Cake is to die for - I ordered it every night. The next day we arrived in the...
review »Our family went on this ship to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. I knew this wasn't the most luxurious ship, but the boat was kinda like a sleazy, tacky Vegas on the water!
Staff was ok, not the nice, friendly ones everyone seems to rave about.
The shows were cheezy; the food was good, but not great. The ship is in major need of cleaning and redecorating. Embarking and disembarking were nightmares - hours wasted!
If we cruise again, I will try a different cruise line.
I went on the cruise Carnival Sensation and it was a great experience. There was a lot of
activites and the scenery is great. There was so much food and a 24 hour pizzeria and ice
cream, so imagine yourself eating a lot! The restaurants to eat dinner was beautiful and
high maintenance I enjoyed it. They also had captain night and that was the night where
you dress up and for an hour you enjoy free drinks. It was worth every dollar.
