Our family went on this ship to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. I knew this wasn't the most luxurious ship, but the boat was kinda like a sleazy, tacky Vegas on the water!

Staff was ok, not the nice, friendly ones everyone seems to rave about.

The shows were cheezy; the food was good, but not great. The ship is in major need of cleaning and redecorating. Embarking and disembarking were nightmares - hours wasted!

If we cruise again, I will try a different cruise line.

I was a 1st time cruiser in 1/07 on a 4 day cruise to Ensenada. Overall I enjoyed the experience until the last night when a storm hit. We were anchored just off the coast, near Long Beach, where we started from.

The storm was the roughest during the late night/early morning hours. I had stopped wearing "the patch" for motion sickness... I felt like the ship was being tossed around like a toy. I ended up nauceated and also vomited. I was upset the ship didn't sail back to port in Long Beach before the storm on our "last night". I felt like Carnival only wanted to remain in the international waters and continue with the gambling that night . I called and complained to the help desk.
