The Carnival Liberty may be the largest cruse ship. At 952 feet long it is the length of three football fields. It is 116 feet wide and weighs 110,000 tons. The website gives the number of passengers as 2,974 but in fact we were told that the Liberty holds 3,700 people and there were 3,500 on our cruise....

This was my first cruise and if this is the standard, I will never cruise again.  The staff was not friendly and the entertainment was beyond corny.  Being paired to sit with others at dinner is one thing, but my friend and I were seated with a couple who were much older and on a romantic cruise -... read full review »

I have only been on one cruise, which was over the summer.  My wife and I went on the Carnival Liberty Cruise.  It was absolutely amazing: everything we could've wanted plus more!  The food was incredible.  There were so many choices and you could get food any time of day.  They had everything from buffets, to pizza & burgers, to deli sandwiches, to Asian food, to a fancy restaurant.  There was something there for everyone, including healthier choices for those who are concerned.  My wife and I are not big drinkers so we purchased a card for soft drinks.  This made it so we can get an unlimited...

My 7 days on the Carnival Liberty were excellent!  Carnival staff is always friendly and ready to serve.  The food is always top quality.  My itenerary included Belize, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Nassau.  The shore excursion selection is good and the quality of the hosts is very high.  Expect to have a lot of fun.  My biking tour in Belize got rained out, but Carnival was quick to refund the cruise and offer alternative selections.  The ship has plenty to do whether you are a family, or a couple looking for a romantic evening.

Whenever possible, I prefer to upgrade my cabin.  Liberty offers...

I went on my first cruise this year and I must say I am hooked!!!  I am going on another next year.

The only thing I did not like was the nickel and diming the that went on sometime.  Come on I have to pay for $1  popcorn while watching a movie on the Lido deck.  That  was a bit much.

The embarking process is bad if you wait late I am so glad i listen to the people at my hotel and got on early and did not have to wait long in the 101 lines it seemed like to get on the ship.

The food on the ship was out of this WORLD!!!
The Staff on the ship was out of this WORLD!!

Crusing to me is the way...

A couple of friends, my daughter and I took this cruise in early Dec. 2007.  It was great!  The ship is beautiful!  Our room had a big balcony, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the amenities were exceptional.  We truly enjoyed the shows.  They were very entertaining and carried out beautifully.  There were more than enough activities to keep us busy all day and evenings.  We enjoyed the movies at night on the Lido deck, and all the dancing!  The pools were a little on the small side, but there were 3 of them and they were never so crowded that we couldn't enjoy ourselves.  The... read full review »

The Carnival line of cruise ships is among the very best. I will say though that Carnival may not be the correct fit for the person that is looking for a laid back and maybe even quiet cruise. This cruise line is geared more for the younger party crowd. Most familes would want to look elsewhere. The entertainment is non stop on this party boat!! No matter what you are looking for, they have something for everyone.. From gambeling to clubs it's all there.. A word to the wise, don't go looking to gamble while the boat is in port, you will be disappointed. The ship will only open the casino when they... read full review »

I can't say enough wonderful things about Carnival Cruise Lines in general, but this cruise topped them all.  I went to Tortola, Puerto Rico, Nassau, St. Maarteen, and Antigua and never had a dull moment onboard.  The staff was amazing throughout the cruise and very willing to help with any situation.  The rooms were great, beds were comfortable, large balcony, spacous room all together.  The kids loved the cruise and Camp Carnival and the adults loved the shows and the casino! I would definitely reccommend this cruise to anyone who loves to cruise.

This is one of the best cruise ship I have ever sailed on.  I hope that on my next cruise I can travel on the Carnival Liberty.  I took my daughter on this cruise ship for her 11th birthday, and the staff gave her the best birthday that she will never forget.  We had so much fun, and there were so many things to do on the ship.  Out of all the cruises I have taken, This was the best so far because it is a beautiful.  The enormous big screen tv is one of a kind.... Thanks carnival

The new Carnival Liberty is a beautiful ship!   Unfortunately, the beauty and design does not match the service, food quality, and accessibility.    If it weren't for our stateroom attendant, the word "service" would not exist on this ship.  Food quality was poor....especially for the acclaimed Master Chef Georges Blanc menu!   I would have to say this was a "money" ship.   They get you on cheap, stuff you in smaller rooms, and then make you spend alot more later....you should see our bill!   Yes, this cruise was cheaper than other cruise lines....but you do get what you pay for.  ...

If you want a relaxing vacation and you want to get what you pay for, go on a Cruise with Carnival. You not only get to see beautiful water, but you get to see the amazing attractions that the luxurious ship will take you to.
You can meet new people and eat amazing food served every night.
The room service is great and the crew and staff are very willing to help with whatever you need.

We travel a lot, this was our 4th cruise with Carnival and will probably be the last. We asked for a room with the ocean view window, since we had cruised with them before we were "upgraded". Actually they put us up one floor from where we would have been. The "upgraded" room was on the floor that people could walk around and there was the rail in front of our window. The only view we could see was of the sky and of the people who were looking back at US! Had to keep the curtains closed for the whole cruise. The room was smaller than any we had ever had, there was NO couch and no coffee table.... read full review »

The dining room service was horrific.  They have the servers singing (completely out of tune) and dancing (some innapropriately), while 3/4 of the dining room have their food, and the other 1/4 is now waiting incredibly inpatiently for their food.

The woman at the deli sandwich station was handling lettuce without gloves and wearing nail polish.

We had a light out in the room, it took 3 days before anything was done about it.

Not a good experience.

When I turned twenty one, my parents took me on a cruise for my birthday. They couldn't have booked a better cruise line or ship. The Carnival cruise line was great. When we first entered the Liberty cruise ship they took a picture of my family. They were friendly and very happy people. The food was just fabolous. Anything you could even think of eating was on the ship somewhere. The first day on the ship, I won seven hundred and fifty dollars on a bingo game. My favorite stop was at Belize. We went cave tubing. At first I was a little scared, because we had to walk almost two miles before we...

My one week experience aboard the Carnival Liberty was one of fun & excitement, food & entertainment, peace & tranquility, & anything else you can think of. The ship's theme was kind of artsy. There were various collections of modern art everywhere, & the lobby's outstanding chandelier was one to truly marvel at. The theatre's theme was equally magnificent. It was by far the most ornate & beautiful cruise I have yet been to, & I have been on 3 of them. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the fact that the food wasn't as delicious as it should've been. The buffet food was awesome! But the...
