Most HelpfulThe Carnival Liberty may be the largest cruse ship. At 952 feet long it is the length of three football fields. It is 116 feet wide and weighs 110,000 tons. The website gives the number of passengers as 2,974 but in fact we were told that the Liberty holds 3,700 people and there were 3,500 on our cruise....

Most HelpfulI have only been on one cruise, which was over the summer. My wife and I went on the Carnival Liberty Cruise. It was absolutely amazing: everything we could've wanted plus more! The food was incredible. There were so many choices and you could get food any time of day. They had everything from buffets, to pizza & burgers, to deli sandwiches, to Asian food, to a fancy restaurant. There was something there for everyone, including healthier choices for those who are concerned. My wife and I are not big drinkers so we purchased a card for soft drinks. This made it so we can get an unlimited...
read full review »My 7 days on the Carnival Liberty were excellent! Carnival staff is always friendly and ready to serve. The food is always top quality. My itenerary included Belize, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Nassau. The shore excursion selection is good and the quality of the hosts is very high. Expect to have a lot of fun. My biking tour in Belize got rained out, but Carnival was quick to refund the cruise and offer alternative selections. The ship has plenty to do whether you are a family, or a couple looking for a romantic evening.
Whenever possible, I prefer to upgrade my cabin. Liberty offers...
read full review »The new Carnival Liberty is a beautiful ship! Unfortunately, the beauty and design does not match the service, food quality, and accessibility. If it weren't for our stateroom attendant, the word "service" would not exist on this ship. Food quality was poor....especially for the acclaimed Master Chef Georges Blanc menu! I would have to say this was a "money" ship. They get you on cheap, stuff you in smaller rooms, and then make you spend alot more later....you should see our bill! Yes, this cruise was cheaper than other cruise lines....but you do get what you pay for. ...
read full review »The dining room service was horrific. They have the servers singing (completely out of tune) and dancing (some innapropriately), while 3/4 of the dining room have their food, and the other 1/4 is now waiting incredibly inpatiently for their food.
The woman at the deli sandwich station was handling lettuce without gloves and wearing nail polish.
We had a light out in the room, it took 3 days before anything was done about it.
Not a good experience.
When I turned twenty one, my parents took me on a cruise for my birthday. They couldn't have booked a better cruise line or ship. The Carnival cruise line was great. When we first entered the Liberty cruise ship they took a picture of my family. They were friendly and very happy people. The food was just fabolous. Anything you could even think of eating was on the ship somewhere. The first day on the ship, I won seven hundred and fifty dollars on a bingo game. My favorite stop was at Belize. We went cave tubing. At first I was a little scared, because we had to walk almost two miles before we...
