Carnival Cruise Lines - Legend Review

I went on the Carinval Legend in August.  What a great cruise.  I went with my parents, 2 younger sisters, and grandparents.  My parents are 51 and 49.  I am 25 and my sisters are 22 and 18.  My grandfather is 80 and my grandmother is 79.  My grandparents used wheelchairs to get through the check in for the cruise because they cannot stand for long amounts of time.  This made checkin so easy.  They checked are entire family in at the same time and let us all board the ship even before are calling group because of the wheelchairs.  No one seemed to have any problems during check-in even without wheelchairs. 

The ship is great.  Nice, big rooms for cruise ships.  Very clean and great stewards.  Ship was very clean with very attentive staff.  More than enough activities for everyone.  I played in the casion everyday and was impressed with the size and options in table games.  Was also surprised by the caliber of knowledgable players in the casio (hard to find on some cruise ships).  My family went to the paino lounge almost every night and really enjoyed it.  Great time to just relax.  My parents ate at the pay for restaurant one night and could not stop raving about it.  Said it was one of the best meals they ever had and were overwhelmed by the portion sizes.  The dining room was great.  Had pretty good food.  The wait staff was ok but could have been a bit more quicker.  They did remember what we liked each night which was a nice touch.

Port of calls were great.  If you are ever in Belize you have to do the cave tubing with the Butts Up company.  Get to an extra cave than ship tour and get better ratio of tour guide to people.  Wonderful company and great tour.  Highlight of the trip.  All the ports were great. 

 I would definitly reccomend this cruise to anyone.  Great for families as it has stuff for everyone.
