The Carnival ship Inspiration is a great ship. I had to get that out of the way first. We (my sister in law and myself) just returned from the Inspiration last week from a 5-day cruising experience. I will try to cover everything you ever thought to ask about and some stuff that you didn't think of. Warning...this is LONG!

First arriving in Tampa at the port. It is easy to find. It is Pier 2 and you can see it from far off. We dropped off our luggage first, and then drove around to the parking garage. It is $12.00 a day to park, they take cash or charge, and you pay up front. Our luggage...

My family and I took a cruise on this cruise line the week of July 4th in 2007. 14 year old and 7 year old son had the best times of there lifes. Plenty of entertainment for adults and kids. And the food was never ending. Plan to take another cruise as soon as possible.

I recently went on the Carnival Inspiration for 5 days over the Labor Day weekend. This was my first cruise and boy was it an experience I will never forget! Now, Labor day weekend was the weekend that Hurrican Gustav was lingering around. I thought for sure my cruise would be cancelled, but instead we went ahead with our plans and we left in thunder and lightening!

Now, I want to try to keep this short and simple! I had the most amazing week ever on the Inspiration. Not only were the staff helpful and curtious, they were also amazingly nice and kind hearted. Not one person gave...

We went on the Carnival Inspiration June 2 2008 to Cayman Islands and Cozumel. We enjoyed the cruise although when we arrived to our room there were Dorito crumbs someone had left that were not cleaned up underneath the closet door that stayed there the whole trip. The tray and drinking glasses on the table by the bed were dirty with crumbs and smooches on them. We had four people in the room the Cabin Steward had to lower one bed and lay out the other which he did not come to do one night. We arrived at Cozumel at 10:30am.Our excursion tickets had 9:30am on them. We got up early and had gone... review »

This cruise has been the best cruise so far.  My husband and I went to Grand Cayman and Cozumel.  In Grand Cayman, which is absolutely beautiful even though it still has some hurricane damage, we took the excursion that takes you on a tour of the island including the city of Hell.  It also includes going to the turtle farm to see how they raise sea turtles.  I thought it would be boring but it is so much fun(can't wait to go back).  And our last stop was taking a boat out to stingray island.  I know some people are scared of stingrays now, but this is amazing.  There are hundreds of stingrays...

We went on the 5 day western carribbeean cruise for our honeymoon in May and loved it.  There are great options for dining and entertainment. They have a sushi bar open from 4-6pm that is amazing.  The ports of call were awesome. In Grand Cayman, Stingray city is a once in a lifetime adventure, and in Cozumel we spend the day being waited on hand and foot on Paradise Beach, the most beautiful beach we have ever seen.  The formal night was a blast- the lobster was absolutely amazing and the captains cocktail party was a lot of fun.  Overall, we very much enjoyed our cruise and for the price,... review »

I've only taken Carnival on cruises. My parents have taken Royal Caribbean and they both like Carnival better. The service is great. Everyone is friendly and really there to serve you and do everything they can to make sure your trip is as perfect as you want it to be. This particular ship had a pretty good set-up. It was nice that the kids' group was almost in a hidden location. That way, no adults/strangers would get in the way there and parents can feel secure knowing their children were safe. There was also a teen club so 14-17 year-olds could hang out and meet others their age--and not be... review »

I took my adult daughter on her first cruise in June 2007. The ship was just the right size for us. It had enough things to do onboard while cruising so we didn't get bored. The food was great and the service in the dining room was excellent. We enjoyed being able to order from room service any time of the day or night with no extra charges. Pizza and ice cream were always available also in the casual dining area. The spa offered massages, beauty treatments and many other services to pamper you. We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise.

This was my husband & I's second cruise but our first family cruise. The kids 10 & 16 loved it! we are so excited to plan our next family cruise. They could eat when they wanted and I got family pictures without having to pull teeth! there was things for everyone to do. Not to mention all the port we got to visit and the experiences that we came home with will stay with us forever! High Recommended for a family vacation!

My family's experience on Carnival Cruise-Inspiration is the very best vacation we have ever had. It was the first time we had ever been on a cruise. We were treated as though we were the only ones on the boat. Every employee was pleasant and knowledgeable. They knew our names after being on the ship for only a few hours. The hospitality was impeccable. We will be booking another cruise with Carnival in the near future and I'm sure it will again be the best time we have on a vacation.

I had an amazing experience on the Inspiration ship.  The people we met on the ship were awesome and we still keep in contact with them.  The staff was friendly and enjoyable.  The food was great and there was many choices.  It was definitly worth the money spent!  I can't wait to go on another cruise.  We are already planning our next one!

It's also great to unpack once and visit destinations.

This cruise was a lot of fun.  It was a great family cruise for a family of three ranging in ages from 9 to 18.  Everyone had a good time weather we were on the boat or in one of the ports.  There's something for everyone no matter what your interest or age.  I would highly recomend this cruise line to anyone interested in a cruise.

Cruises are wonderful; Carnival is a very inexpensive way to go with great food and entertainment. The entertainment consist of many bars, country, pop, teen, comedy, piano and many more. At night the rooms were always cleaned, mints on pillows, and towel animals made.

I have been on 3 Carnival cruises and will go again.
