Carnival Cruise Lines - Inspiration —

We went on the Carnival Inspiration June 2 2008 to Cayman Islands and Cozumel. We enjoyed the cruise although when we arrived to our room there were Dorito crumbs someone had left that were not cleaned up underneath the closet door that stayed there the whole trip. The tray and drinking glasses on the table by the bed were dirty with crumbs and smooches on them. We had four people in the room the Cabin Steward had to lower one bed and lay out the other which he did not come to do one night. We arrived at Cozumel at 10:30am.Our excursion tickets had 9:30am on them. We got up early and had gone to bed early the night before,missing out on some of the ships events to be ready for our dive trip at 9:30am. When we did not arrive at the port of Cozumel at 9:30am we thought maybe there had been a miss print on our tickets so we went down to the excursion desk to find out what was going on. The lady said our dive trip was going to be at 1:30pm it had been changed due to the ships delay. We were not notified of this and we were there ready to disembark with our dive equipment in hand. We signed up online for our excursion so the lady said it was our travel agents mistake.But they passed out the tickets on board saying 9:30am on them. The time was also scheduled when we signed up in February.We arranged the time where we could go and be back the same time as our children's excursion. This put us going when they were getting back. We were very upset that we were not notified and that the time was so much later than planned.We asked to change to our childrens excursion and the lady said it was to late and if we did not go the dive trip would be canceled for the others going, making us feel bad for the other people! The excursion desk lady was not apologetic and did not seem to care. She said it was our fault and the travel agents fault,she did not take any responsibility.We were told by our Cabin Steward that they should of notified us of this. This was very inconvenient. We waited and went at 1:30pm causing us to miss out on time planned with our children.
