Most HelpfulI just returned last week from my cruise on the Carnival Fantasy. There were eight in my group and we all have a great time. The cruise offered many options for things to do. There was always something going on or you could just relax in your cabin or find a place to read a book. The food was...

Most HelpfulI was very impressed with the Booking agent for Carnival who worked with me to schedule our cruise. Peter, gave me information that I would have never known, including the information that my husband was eligible for a discount because he is a veteran. That information is not even present on the Carnival...
review »I have been on ten Carnival boat cruises each a little different and a bit dependent of the people you meet, your servers, and the weather.By far this line offers some of the best rates and services, Never pay brochure prices and call an agent not the line directly as you may not find your best deal? I have bragged about cruising and have sent many others on there path to cruising, Cozumel, A great place, nice beaches lots of shopping for silver and onyx. You must be able to barter here, Never pay listed prices.Nothing beats an endless supply 24hours a day of Food, ice cream pizza, Never will you...
review »My husband and I took this cruise as a little get away before he went back into the military. We have traveled to many places but this was our first cruise. It was the most fun and relaxing time that we have ever had on a vacation. I must say that I enjoyed the cruise itself more than our destination.
The Bahamas was absolutely beautiful but the people were like vultures looking for their next meal. Every corner that we turned there was a native trying to sell us something. We finally made it to the beach, rented a jet ski, spent a couple of hours there and went back to the ship. Overall the...
review »This Carnival Cruise to the Carribean was a great time for my first cruise. From stepping onto this boat, we had a blast. The staff was friendly; all areas were clean. the pool was a little crowded but definitely lively and fun. The excursions offered were a lot of fun.... we swam with the dolphins, and also had plenty of time to see the Atlantis hotel and aqaurium.
While we were at sea, both the disco and the kareoke lounge were my favorite hangouts, but all of the bars and also the casino area were nice as well. I thought that the little themed picture areas set up all over the boat were a great...
review »My husband and I actually had more fun on the ship then we did at the ports. Our ship had port calls at FreePort and Nassau. Our ship had a lot of activities from shows, casinos, pools, and shops. We stayed in the 2nd cheapest room and it was very nice and very affordable. The best part for my husband and I was that there were people waiting on you hand and foot at every turn. You could eat as much as you wanted and people would actually bring you anything you wanted. They would even provide room service so you did not have to get up early if you did not want to.
I usually...
review »This cruise line left alot to be desired. First off the rooms were small and about half the time the air conditioning did not work also my husband and i had a suite however we could hear the sounds of the gym right above us almost all night. The food was meidocre at best. The staff was rude and some of them you could barely understand. There was not alot of information on disembarking from the ship at thier island so we almost missed one of our activities because we did not know and were not told we would have to take another smaller ship to the island. All in all i would not go on...
review »i would recommend Carnival Cruise Lines to all families wishing to take a great family vacation. The food was excellent. There were many activities for my children to participate in as well as my husband and I. The state room suite was very large and accomodated my entire family. When at ports we had very imformative brochures to decide on which excursions to participate in. We cruised 3 months ago and my family is still talking about how much fun we had. We are looking forward to another Carnival Cruise.
This particular cruise was over thanksgiving...On board entertainment was good.....meals average. My motto, a bad cruise is better than a good week at home.
However, I have to advise against the tour that has the wall climbing, repelling and zip line.
This was done next to the beach.......one had to climb 2 towers.....walk across a swing bridge, and the zip line was 14 feet.....not worth the $79.
The literature on this excursion was very misleading....
I took the Fantasy for a weekend get away with my husband. It was a great escape with nice service, wonderful home port and very affordable in the winter.
If you are a first time cruiser or if you are looking for a top of the line trip this is not the cruise for you. Yes it has a nice port of call and a great home port, but the ship is smaller and older.
I would go again instead of going to a condo in Florida.
