Carnival Cruise Lines - Fantasy Review

My husband and I took this cruise as a little get away before he went back into the military. We have traveled to many places but this was our first cruise. It was the most fun and relaxing time that we have ever had on a vacation. I must say that I enjoyed the cruise itself more than our destination.

 The Bahamas was absolutely beautiful but the people were like vultures looking for their next meal. Every corner that we turned there was a native trying to sell us something. We finally made it to the beach, rented a jet ski, spent a couple of hours there and went back to the ship. Overall the Bahamas was like any other tourist city where you have people trying to take advantage of the traveler but the beauty of the island made up for it.

 The cruise ship had so much to offer. We enjoyed the casino, the shows were great and the food was amazing. I made a vow to try something new at every dinner and it was so much fun to try foods that I had never had before. The plus side of that was if it was something that I didn't like I could always go to the Bistro afterward and get something there. We made it a habit to order late night cookies and brownies with milk every night through room service. It was a great get away and one that I will remember forever.

 I look forward to our next cruise when my husband gets home from Iraq. This next one will include our kids so it will be totally different and exciting.
