Carnival Cruise Lines - Elation Review

I would highly recommend a Carnival Cruise. Personally, I love to travel - but I went on this cruise with some family members who are nervous travelers, and even they had a blast! Carnival is great because they appeal to every demographic. No matter where you are in life, there is something for you to do on a Carnival Cruise! You could be a 5-year-old or 85 years old and still have a great experience.

Some people view assigned dining as a negative - but for me, it was a positive. We had two excellent waitors who learned our every preference. By the third day, they were bringing me decaf cappucino at the end of each meal without me even having to ask for it! They really do treat you like royalty, and you feel sooo pampered. And the food is incredibly good in the dining room - like eating at an exclusive, fancy restaurant. But if you don't like the assigned dining for some reason, they also have open buffets and 24/7 room service, so it's all up to you. This is also an incredibly cheap way to travel, since all your food is free! Your transportation, lodging, food, and a few other things are all lumped together in one price, which makes it a lot cheaper to travel overall.

The ship we went on was the Elation - it was absolutely beautiful. I'm sure the other Carnival ships are lovely as well. All the staff that we came into contact with were friendly, professional, and helpful - I was SO impressed.

If you go on a cruise, I'd suggest you take advantage of their structured "Excursion" options when you're on shore. You're not required to do these things - but the options they have are pretty amazing! I got to snorkle off the edge of Belize, and in Cozumel I got to swim with dolphins - pretty incredible stuff! I will never forget the experiences I had on that trip!

Carnival is just wonderful. I'd recommend a cruise for any family or individual looking for a relaxing and stress-free way to travel. Good luck!
