We went on a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas through a promotional program, and at first we were apprehensive, because the reservations were done over the phone. We thought we would have to pay for food, even though we knew it was all-inclusive--we didn't trust it. So we budgeted $70 a day. Guess what? We brought all that money BACK home with us, even after buying souveniers!
The Cruise Ship was massive, like a floating town. I have dizzy spells-without cruising, so I was worried about being sea sick. WRONG! You don't feel anything because the boat is so huge--and beautiful. We had buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They even had 24 hour pizza if that wasn't enough. We bought drinks with our money, and we always were getting free tickets for more drinks from the crew!
If you are looking for non-stop fun--you gotta try it. We could see the beautiful sea and other cruise ships out of our port windows. Our rooms were modern, with HBO movies playing non-stop. The pool and deck were fabulous, and so were the pool bars surrounding it. At night the serenity and the night sky are magical. And when the ship docked we stepped off to explore the Bahama beauty.
The activities on the ship are endless. The captain's ball, the card games, the theater, the disco and dance bars, not to mention the casino. Every deck was fabulous. We took pictures on the Grand staircase.
Trust me, every night on the boat you go right to sleep from the day and night activities.
Cruising is the ONLY way to vacation, and we are going again!!!
