Carnival Cruise Lines - Ecstasy —
I have heard from many people that free style cruising is the best way to go. In my experiance though I must say... I loved the option of getting to know all the couples at our table.(Some of which we still keep in touch with) The staff we encountered were very friendly, service oriented and wonderful. I will recomend getting a fountain card so you can get soft drinks and not have to pay a large sum. My husband and I enjoyed the evning shows. The food was wonderful!!!! The casino was very good to us as well. We had our pictures taken everyday and were able to purchase them. When we got to progresso to explore the Mayan ruins it was like stepping off to another world. The excursion was informative and deatiled several aspects of the Mayan culture. Next stop Cosumel. I never knew the water could be so blue. We shopped all day and enjoyed lunch at a beach resturuant. One of the locals told us if you want good prices shop after 1pm, because the shops will drop the prices as the tourist are returning to the boats. We snorkled out in the blue unknown. We could see star fish on the bottom of the ocean floor from 150 feet up. When we got back to the US we did not have any problems getting though customs. Carnival makes the process really easy. Carnival helped to give my husband and I the best honeymoon ever!!!!
