A group of 8, 4 couples sailed on the Conquest.....we were in aft staterooms, newly appointed with luxury bedding. Our room steward was a gem....she anticipated our needs and made sure we were well cared for. Food and service was exceptional.....something for every persons tastes and special food preparation and service for a celiac sufferer. The ship is very well kept, sanitation was a priority. Entrtainment was standard for a cruise ship....the spa services were expensive but worth it. Ports of call.....Jamaica was our favorite.....we hired a private driver with a new air conditoned van ....we... review »

This was my husbands and my first cruise and boy did we enjoy it!  This  was a very nice ship and very clean and well organized.   Our room was clean, organized and surprisingly we didn't feel it to be as small as some people said it would be.  The service was great not only in our room but at the buffet and dinner table too! There was an open buffet available all the time, in addition to scheduled times for our seat down formal dinner meals. The ship is beautiful, with plenty of shops, slots machines, swimming pools and other activities available.   We throughly enjoyed each nights show... review »

My husband and I went on the Carnival Conquest cruise ship for our honeymoon and it was our first cruise. The ship was so big it was overwhelming at first but once onboard we appreciated the large variety of activities, shops and restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed the casino also which was pretty large. The staff were so friendly and accomodating from our room stewards to our waiter in the dining room who knew us by name.  The weather wasn't great but there was plenty to do inside the ship so we definitely didn't feel deprived. We especially enjoyed the bingo games and other game shows in...

All things considered the entire cruise was very well run and professonial. Seven days were long enough on a ship. I found our formal dinners each night to be a most memorible part of the trip. The water slide was good fun . The drink specials each day were usually fruity and had enough alcohol in them. Smorkeling at grand cayman was great fun the water and reef were awsome , it made the trip seem too short. There were people from all over the U.S. on the ship , made for some interresting conversations..We had six members in our party all luggage and rooms were as they should be . The crowd at... review »

We went to Cozemel on the Celebration Ship and as we were leaving port Galveston there was a Hurricane coming in. The ship was not as bad with the waves as I suspected it wauld be.It stayed pretty steady and you couldn't feel the waves near as bad as i thought you would, especially when we were having 20 ft waves.  There were plenty of things to so to keep you occupied. The crew was very curtious as well as helpful. The were so many things to do aboard shipthat the hardest part was trying to decide what you wanted to do. They had shows that were wonderful. The food on the ship was amazing also,... review »

I was on the Conquest the first year it sailed it is a beautiful ship!  All the restaraunts on board give you a great variety.  The Only thing than I would metion to  concerned older travelers is make sure for your dining room you are at the right end of the ship.  The Kitchen is between the 2 dining rooms ( take the tour the kitchen is awesome)  so if you go to the wrong end of the ship you have to back track. I did this several times.  But for older travelers I think this may be a concern.  LOVE CARNIVAL CRUISING !!!!  Can't wait to go again!!

that was a very nice ship. Very clean and organized. The serive was great. There was an open buffet available all the time, in addition to scheduled times for main meals. The ship is beautiful, with plenty of shops and slots machines, swimming pools and other activities available, and many land trips available in each port stop. We enjoyed our trip and we'll be back again.

Our Carnival experience was not as good as we had hoped. We've been married on the Royal Carribean cruise line after we docked in St Thomas, VI. Then we went on a family cruise with Norweigen cruise lines and this last time was with Carnival Cruise lines with 5 kids, and 2 girlfriends along plus the wife and I. The overall comfort level wasn't there like on the other two ships, the wait staff weren't friendly all of the time, if you bought regularly from them then they were more apt to be friendly towards you. Our waiter at the dinner time had an attitude and didn't really want to be there as it...
