Carnival Cruise Lines - Conquest Western Caribbean —

We love Carnival Cruise Lines. We have taken about 9 cruises to various destinations. The last one was to Jamaica, grand cayman, and Cozumel. We went zip-lining throught the jungle in Jamaica, and snorkeling with the stingrays in Grand Cayman. We love snorkeling on our own in Cozumel. There is a spot near Senior Frogs on the beach and you can see a lot of sea life. This cruise we have done once before and enjoyed it; but the zip-lining 300ft above the jungle floor is something everyone should do at least once in a lifetime!

We just took some gatorade. I think they had bug spray avaiable when we left; but we sprayed down on the ship. It is better not to take anything. The hike isn't that bad and it isn't "infested" like jungles on TV. You will be 350ft up in tops of trees on little platforms with little room to manuver with backpacks. We wore shorts, t-shirts, tennis shoes, and a cap. I think they have a little store outside of the check point where you leave from.

I am so glad to hear the Zip line was fun. We go in September and one of our excursion is the zip line. Any suggestions on how to dress and what to take along. I bought two back packs for my husband and I and I thought water and bug towelettes were essenitals. What else do you think we need?

My husband and I are fans of Princess Cruise Lines! We are about to go on our 7th with them in Feb. You are absolutely right . . . IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRAVEL! My husband and I want to try cruising with "Carnival" as we have heard alot of good things; We have a hard time pulling ourselves away from Princess even once, part of the reason is b/c we are Captain Circle members (platnium) and getting those little extra's is kind of nice. We went on the same itinerary that you went on last year. What is zip-lining? Have you done all your cruising with Carnival? Sandy
