As Good or Better Than Similac

I am the Mom of 4 kids.  All of my kids have had problems with Similac Products, different reactions to different things.  My oldest couldnt handle iron, so used a low iron similac (they dont make that anymore I dont think).  My next child couldnt handle cows based formula, so we used Similac Soy.  My third son couldnt handle any Similac products, so we used Enfamil Soy.  Then came my daughter.  I didnt want to have to deal with any of my previous problems, as having a new baby is hard enough, but dealing with changing formulas and the issues involved is NOT fun either.  So I started her on Good Start after reading about it, getting info from other Moms who had used it etc.  She did wonderful on it, none of the previous problems I had experienced before with my boys.  She had less gas, very little spit up, it was great.  I think that because it is cheaper, some people are nervous to try it, thinking it is lacking quality etc, but that is NOT the case.  Also, since most hospitals have a deal set up with Similac, they are less likely to give you any other opinion than Similac.  But I for one, loved Good Start, and would use it over Similac any day.
