I have 5 children - 10 and under. I have used various soy formulas for 4 of them after I was done nursing, but I hated the smelly diapers. After I had my fifth baby, I ended up nursing him longer than all the others. By the end of nursing himĀ I had read in a couple of places that I trusted that Carnation Good Start was the best formula to replace breastmilk. I must admit I was a little skeptical but there was a selling point for me. My son's dirty diapers smelled almost exactly like breastmilk dirty diapers! I couldn't believe it - I was definitely sold! I will always recommend Carnation Good Start and probably any of the Good Start variations - depending on what your baby's needs are - I have used one of the others but I can't remember exactly what it's called. Hope this helps someone who is trying to choose the right formula. I know it's more expensive than store brands but it is generally cheaper than other name brands and you can usually find coupons somewhere.
