Carmex is a golden balm that has a menthol scent and tingles on the lips, almost like lip plumper. It isn't fancy nor tasty but it heals my sore, dry lips and, if I they are chapped or cracked and windburned, one thick coat at night heals my lips by morning. This is also good for cold sores.

I love Carmex lip balm, my lips get very chapped in the winter and In Az we have dry heat that also chapped my lips.
I have used everything my elfs gave me to try for my very dry and cracked lips. One day my elf gave me this tiny little treasure to try on my lips. I used Carmex for about two days and my chapped lips was smooth as my elfs bottom.
I even had a dry nose around the opening, I also use a little for my dry chapped nose from blowing it all day. It worked and healed my cracked chapped nose. The smell was menthol like so it helped me breath a little better too.

Every woman wants soft, kissable lips, and this product will give you that. I love lip products and have tried so many different brands, as well as the prices that go along with some of them, but this is the best product I have found. This product not only soothes chapped lips, but it provides so much moisture, and all for only 88 cents!! You can find this product almost everywhere, and I recommend stocking up. You will absolutely love it. I keep this with me at all times. If you haven't tried Carmex, go out and get some now. There's nothing like it.

Carmex lip balm is excellent. Absolutely love it. Keeps my lips from drying and chipping. something I always keep in stock. It helps cure cold sores fast. A very inexpensive way of keep lips soft and beautiful from day to day. It is like a thick layer of moisture that prevents lips from drying and cracking. It also adds a wonderful glow and shine to the lips. In winters it can be your best friend. You can even use it on dry chipped heels for that extra moisture and instant smoothness. works really well

Carmex to me is the best all around medicine for dry, chapped lips and canker sores as well. It has a numbing agent in it that helps to relieve the soreness while healing them.
This is the work horse of the lip balm products. When I need real tough lip healing this is the bomb. It is so inexpensive and it feels great going on. Cooling and soothing. It does have a bit of a strong smell and I don't use if I'm going out on the town. However if you want winter time healing this is your baby. It's also good for cold sores, which is what my sister uses it for. She always has a little container of this. Soooo good lip balm for almost no money I think it works for me.

Several years ago a friend urged me to try Carmex. Up until that point I had been using Chapstick lip balm. I was a little put off at first because Carmex just seemed so plain. But what I found out is that this is some of the best stuff in the world for dry skin!

My family and I started using Carmex after my daughter had the chickenpox. We thought she got a terrible rash around her mouth after she was sick. We took her to the dermatologist and he gave her a prescription. The rash only got worse. My aunt seen her and suggested using Carmex. Her mouth started getting better right away. We have been using it ever since, which is 16 years. I would not use any other profuct unless I was very, very convinced it could work better. It doesn't have a pleasant taste, but it's not awful either.
