The bottle says:

Ready to reveal your daring side? Flaunt your gorgeous even skin tone with confidence.  Caress Evenly Gorgeous Body Washwith burnt brown sugar and karite butter, gently exfoliates and lusciously moisturizes to reveal beautifully even-toned skin.  Go ahead, be daring!  For a luxurious, silkening shower or bath squeeze a dab onto a poof (you judge the dab).  Lather, breathe deep and relax.  Ignore any knocks at the door.

Have you been enticed yet?  This body wash is too good for words.  The 18 FL OZ bottle is a traditional shampoo-style one with a flip-top cap.  On the bottle is a red dress revealing cleavage.  The bottle is almost transparent so that you can see this bronzy looking gel and little beads.  When you open it up the aroma is so refreshing.  You want to slather it all over your body!  Make sure you are ready to get in the tub or shower once you open it because believe me, you will not want to put the bottle down.  When you squirt the gel out it pours like liquid gold.  I didn't use just a little dab either.  I squirt that stuff all over the poof and when bathing wound up with lots of foaming bubles.  The aroma permeates the room and yes, it lingers in the room and on the skin.  I only wish the color would also linger on my skin.

Ingredients:Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Polyethylene, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Acrylate Copolymer, Cocamide MEA, Fragrance, Glycine Soja Oil, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii, Molasses, Maltrodextrin, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, PPG 9, Propylene Glycol, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Caramel, Blue 1 (CI 42090), Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Red 33 (CI 17200), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Yellow 6 (CI 15985)

I never heard of this body wash but while out with my sisters last Saturday my sister-in-law started talking about this body wash she was using.  She is one that uses the real expensive products from spas and boutiques so I was totally surprised to hear her say she was using something that I could buy at Walmart (and I did).  Linda either saw a commercial for it or saw it in a magazine and Beyonce is the one using it.  I opened the bottle in the store, smelled it and put it in my buggy.  An 18 FL OZ bottle only cost $3.87.

Evenly Gorgeous is a fragrance, cleanser, exfoliate and moisturizer.  Evenly Gorgeoushas triple silkening moisturizers.  The texture is smooth with sandpaper like Polyethylene beads.  I am a fan of exfoliates for feet, face, and of course the body in general.  I know that Polyethylene beads are not biodegradable and therefore, will probably end up going thru my sewer line and winding up in a lake or ocean.  So if there is a negative component to this product I guess that would be it.

Some of my friends here and on Twitter have been having a Sensual Amber withdrawal as there have been rumors that Bath and Body Works is discontinuing that specific fragrance line.  When my SIL called to inquire about this she was told they were discontinuing the whole line.  I called and was told it was only going to be the oils and air freshener and I "think" WildCatKatieinquired online and it appeared that nothing was going to be discontinued.  Well, in a world of uncertainty I will now be okay if B&BW does discontinue the Sensual Amber line because Evenly Gorgeous is just a tad better and about half the price.  I only wish it came in a body cream and/or perfume.  At this time it is only available in the body wash and bar soap.

I got some of this shortly after reading your review and it was every bit as good as you described it and so much cheaper than all the glitzy stuff I buy.

This was my first Caress body wash product. I'm loving Evenly Gorgeous so unless they discontinue it; I think I'm hooked!

Have you also tried the one that says something about "Luxurious"... I can't remember the name but it's from Caress. It's a white body wash. That one is silky soft and smells good too.

Thanks for sharing your review with us. :)

Sounds wonderfully like a spoiling experience in the shower - and I could use some spoiling!

This sounds so nice. I remember trying Caress soap in college after seeing a commercial that made it sound great. Well, I was allergic to at least one of the ingredients and it broke me out from head to toe. I looked like a walking, talking hive. UGH! I'm glad you found this product to be wonderful--if I hadn't had that bad experience with it in the past, I'd be tempted to try it after reading your review!

And that's a pretty Sweeet way of describing it. You might smell so good someone may try to eat you!

Butter and brown sugar...roll me up and call me a cinnamon bun...this sounds fantastic! I'm adding it to my shopping list now.

I think it is so beautiful coming out of the bottle too! It makes you feel as if you are at a luxurious spa!

I love the scent & the way this feels. It's so soft and really moisturizes. Great review!

"Supposedly" our store only discontinued certain products in that specific line. My SIL uses the plug-in oil air fresheners and the aerosols. I use the shower gels, lotions, etc. They discontinued the household line not the health & beauty line for Sensual Amber, if that makes sense. I stock up on it when it's on sale so I don't buy it that often.

Thanks for reading my blog! Did you know you can also leave comments on my blog even if you aren't a blogger? All you have to do is provide another URL; which many will use their Viewpoints profile address or Twitter profile address. I love the public comments on my blogs so that others who visit can see what people are saying. I know that might sound vain but when you take the time to write you want a little credit. Anywho, thanks for stopping by!

I had a lazy Fourth with just me, some music and a TV. I did a lot around the house and heard fireworks in the distance.

I wonder why the company withdrew the product line. Maybe it was not performing as well (sales-wise) as they expected would be my guess. BTW...I checked out your blog and read it. Was your Glorious Fourth great this year?

In response to Fardreamer's comment from Jul 5, 2009 at 10:45AM:

In the end the rumor was actually validated. Each store was choosing what to keep in stock. The one my SIL goes to is doing away with the Sensual Amber products that she loves. As for mine, I won't know until I make a phone call or go there. But if I can get Evenly Gorgeous at half the price I will stick with it.

Fardreamer wrote on Jul 5, 2009 at 10:45AM

That's the bad thing about rumors - one misunderstood announcement can lead to the situation you describe when you mention your friends' "withdrawal" anxiety regarding the Sensual Amber line. I'm glad that Evenly Gorgeous has proved to be a remarkably suitable substitute. Nice review!

This sounds yummy and very glitzy glamour!
