CareCredit Review Summary

For those who have unique health neads, Care Credit offers a different means to pay medical, dental, and related expenses. Care Credit is basically a credit payment arrangement that allows customers to pay back their medical bills over time and reviewers like the fact that Care Credit doesn’t charge any interest initially on its loans for medical or dental coverage and extends credit to almost anyone. Comments about Care Credit include positive words of praise such as “This is a Fantastic Way to Pay Dental Care and Health Needs” and “A Life Saver”. But there are many naysayers, including one person who said “This Isn’t Health Insurance- It’s a Credit Card”. The problems associated with Care Credit include its interest, which can climb up quickly if conditions are not met, and the spotty customer service. So, when all things are considered, Care Credit ranks as a below average Health Financing Company and one that requires careful consideration before committing to its plan.

For anyone who has a lot of dental needs, with no or little insurance coverage, CareCredit is a great way to go! They have 3-6-12 or 18 months interest free options. If you are in need of health care (includes dental, oral surgeons, eye and even veterinary care!) ask your healthcare provider if they... read full review »

Surely, when having to make a one-time big purchase, Carecredit can be wonderful, with their no-interest for 12 months 'financing'. But, this is NOT a health insurance- it is a credit card.

My experience so far has been below average, with Carecredit not sending me my bill regularly but expecting me...

CareCredit (aka GE Money Bank) is a terrible credit card company. Their customer service is unacceptable and unhelpful. A new crown that my Dentist installed was bad (it had an "open margin" allowing food to get into the tooth below). We discovered this after we had moved to a different state. The Dentist was very relunctant to give us a credit so that we could get a new replacement crown (even after I had gotten 2 other dentist opinions and xrays as proof of the "open margin"). I sent letters to CareCredit but they were so slow in acknowledging my dispute and they did not refund my interest that...

Care Credit is GREAT ! This can be used many different ways.As for me, I use Care Credit to pay for vet services for my little chihuahua.I am sure if this credit card wasn't available,I wouldn't have my little chihuahua by my side.I was able to get him to the vet for care he needed which saved his life. I would recommend this service to everyone.

So i am alittle 50 50 on this one ,  I have 6 animals and sometime unexpected things come up where i have no choice but to use this card . so on that note it's great and u can get no interest for 3 month or sometime even 12 . But on the other hand the customer service is POOP That the nicest way i can put it . One and i'm sorry to be rude it's very very hard to understand the person not helping me and believe they dont .  I was only 2 days late no joke and they started calling and harrassing me like i have been months over due and then when i let the guy know that i just made a payment online...
