SAVE YOUR MONEY THE USA-SPEC PA11-VW6 IS JUUNNKKKK. — I consider myself to be fairly technical: I was an aircraft jet engine tech for a number of years. I was truly psyched about installing this for my G3 IPOD mini and I was truly dissatified since it did not work at all. I've had good luck with Pioneer car stereo gear, so I looked to that brand first when I wanted to upgrade the factory speakers in my 1995 Subaru Legacy. I had previously installed Pioneer TS-G1641 speakers in another car but that model is no longer available. The replacement is the Pioneer SS-G1642R, which I bought at Wal-Mart for $40 per pair. This is a good speaker, but i would reccomend the rockford fosgate punch series if you have the money to buy them .But yes this is a good speaker for the price. Look at cruchfield for them ,of just go to rockford fosgate website to look. Why didn't I install this sooner? For almost a year, I had been looking for an easy way to play music on my iPhone in my car (a 2006 Volkswagen Passat). With no cassette player in the car, no Bluetooth A2DP capability on the iPhone, and no use for sub-par FM adapters, I figured I was out of luck for the time being.
