One of the best gifts I received this Christmas was my Capresso coffee bean grinder.  I had never had coffee from fresh ground coffee beans before, so it was a real treat when my brother gave me a bag of coffee beans along with a grinder.

First let me say, I love coffee!  I've always just bought the pre-ground stuff from the grocery store and I was happy with it.  Now, though, I think I'm hooked on coffee beans.

The Capresso coffee grinder is EASY to use.  I wouldn't want it if it had too many buttons to have to mess with.  The grinder is bullet shaped, black in color, no bigger than a can opener, and simple to use and clean.  All you do is pour the desired amount of coffee beans in the grinder, snap on the lid and push the button.  You can either hold the button down, or pulse it like you would on a blender.  The coffee comes out better if you pulse it.  Then when it's done, you pour out the coffee and wipe out the grinder with a damp paper towel.  That's it!  You'll have fresh ground coffee that will change your life!  Okay, maybe not change your life, but you will enjoy a nice cup of coffee.  :-)

Features of this particular grinder include:

  • 100 watt electric coffee grinder
  • Low heat buildup preserves coffee bean flavor while grinding
  • Large capacity--grinds up to 15 cups of coffee
  • Pulse action grinds coarse or fine
  • Stainless-steel blade
  • The price on the Capresso coffee grinder is surprisingly low.  I was able to find it on Amazon for less than $ 20.00!  And this is a powerful little grinder that wont need to be replaced anytime soon.  I'm sure you could pay a lot more for a grinder that holds more beans, but that's not something I need.  To get the best taste from coffee beans, you aren't supposed to grind more than you plan on using at that moment.  And since I'm the only person that drinks coffee in my home, this little grinder is perfect for me.  It will grind enough coffee for 15 cups at one time, and even though I'd love to drink that much....I wont.

When I'm not using my Capresso coffee grinder, it stores very easily.  There's an area at the bottom where the cord winds up and stays in place.  This way I don't have to bundle up the cord or anything, it just tucks right into the base of the grinder.  Very convenient!  And as I said, it's not a big appliance at all, so it just slides in a cupboard or between other items on the counter-top.  I would highly recommend this product for any coffee lover.

Sounds good Jenny! If I drank coffee like you do people would be trying to put me away. I have a tendency to be hyper without any added stimulants ;+)
