Capital One - rewards card Review

I've had my capital one card for several years and had been very happy until recently.  There's no annual fee, reward points and terrific identiy theft and fraud protection. It's true what you hear in their commercials, no hassle fraud protection.  I know because our card number was stolen and someone (in another country) spent thousands online.  With no hassle at all, capital one did not hold us responsible and took care of everything.  We also had a great fixed interest rate. In fact, I was going to cancel the card and they offered me a fixed, low rate several years ago, so we took it.  We were assured that the rate would never change (assuming you don't default with late payments).  Everything was fine until about a month ago when they doubled the rate and not based on anything we'd done (late payments, credit status change, etc.).  It was based on the 'troubles' the banks are having right now.  Very unfair given we had a fixed rate.  I ended up canceling the card.
