Capital One - Visa Credit Card —
I would give Capital One ZERO stars if I could! I have had two experiences with Capital One. Both my husband and myself have had VISA accounts with them at separate times over the years. They are the WORST credit card company. Their fees are outrageous and their customer service is awful. For example, during his carefree bachelor days, my husband became delinquent and they refused to work with him. A $200 credit limit ballooned to $760 because of FEES! (I think he made a few purchases; the items actually purchased amounted to about $50.) He couldn't afford to pay the balance once it went to collection because they wouldn't do a payment arrangement for less than half of the balance, nor would they eliminate some of the fees imposed on the account. They ended up SUING him for the entire amount of $760 (almost all of it from fees imposed) and there is now a judgment on his credit report. I cannot say enough BAD things about Capital One.Last edited on Jan 05, 2009
