This is my all time favorite card! I have had this card for almost two years and couldn't pass up the sign up offer. They offered to double your spend from the previous year on another rewards card just for signing up for their card. I received over $700 in rewards to start and continue to earn 2 points per dollar spent. This is one of the best offers out there. Using the purchase eraser to cash in your rewards on travel is very easy to do and the best value offered on the rewards. I have been an avid credit card user for 25 years just for the benefits of the rewards, never carrying a balance, letting the credit card companies pay me. You can't go wrong with this card. I highly recommend!!! Customer Service I've only called customer service once and they were most helpful and friendly. Available Rates I never carry a balance so I can't really comment on the rates but I do know they have one of the best reward programs out there for your money!

I got this card primarily to travel with, and it has not let me down. It doesn't have any of the annoying foreign transaction fees or currency exchange fees that you run into with some other cards. I took this with me to Turkey and Western Europe without any issues. The company knows its role as a travel card. Their process for informing them of upcoming travel was remarkably easy, you can even set the notification online and save the trouble of having to call in. And of course we can't forget that this card has quality rewards. I stick with gift card rewards, but they give you plenty of ways to use points to pay off past and future travel expenses. Rack up points with every purchase, with opportunities for some pretty big bonuses shopping through their huge selection of online partners. I also love that you can customize the card with your own photos at no cost. Not only can this card travel with you, it can be your own personal photo album.

I have used a Capitol One card (not Venture, but when I called to switch they said mine was the same -- but no fee). In addition to being super-convenient for travel reimbursement with points, the staff is exceedingly helpful if you have questions or any switches. Customer Service Everyone is helpful, congenial and efficient whenever I call with a question, whether questioning a transaction or a rewards policy.

I have had been a customer with Capital One for over 10 years. I was a little disappointed last year when I called and asked them to drop my rate and they refused. Being a customer for over 10 years that irritated me, so I transfered my balance to another card. I only use Capital One for anything I can pay off the balance immediately, just so I can get the reward points. You get 1.25 points/miles per dollar spent. We like to save our points up until right before Christmas and then redeem them for gift cards. I have never had any problems with Capital One, but I haven't had any issues to deal with either. I would say if you can get a cheaper rate somewhere else, go there!

I have the signature visa version of this card which gives you 2 miles per dollar spent. I hopped on it when Alec Baldwin was advertising the double/match your miles program. Points accumulate immediately after transactions have posted. At 2 points on all purchases your miles add up fast. There is an annual fee on the signature card, i don't believe there is one on the regular but you only earn 1.25 miles per dollar. Do some simple algebra and you'll be able to see the breakeven point is about $8000 a year in purchases. So if you do more than $8000 get the visa signature with the annual fee, if you do less than $8000 get the regular with no annual fee. Using the points are easy, they things you can buy electronics and stuff with, but to redeem for travel/hotel, just book the airfare or room and apply points to it afterwards. Customer Service Great service, i missed my payment by one day, just because i got caught up in life, called customer service and they waived my late fee and let me keep the points i have racked up for that month. Available Rates this is a rewards card, rates are no good on rewards cards.
