I have owned the Capitol One no hassles rewards credit card for a long time now and to tell you the truth, I very rarely use the credit card because I'm very into paying cash for everything.  I have a debit card for large in store purchases, but basically pay cash for everything because credit card debit can get anyone into big trouble fast that is hard to fix.

On the occasions that I have had to use the credit card (car rental), I always write a check to pay the card off as soon as I get the statement in the mail.  But what bothers me is this, every single time I have used the card, and paid in full the balance, I always get a second bill for somewhere around $2.13 or something meinal like that.  When I called to ask about the extra fee, they said that intrest was still incurring over the period of time the bill was mailed to me, until they received the payment.  I was flabbergasted but paid the extra $2.13.  However, the next billing cycle there was something like a .14 bill.  Of course, I called FURIOUS.  Who in their RIGHT mind would ever write a check for FOURTEEN CENTS??!! It would cost more in postage to send the check in!!

Anyway, that was about 3 years ago and just a few months ago we moved and had to use the credit card to reserve a truck to move our stuff and basically the same thing happened, however, I called the credit card company and complained enough that they removed the $2 interest...or whatever it was.

However, since then, I have cancelled the account and opened an account at my credit union.
