Capital One - Platinum Visa Review

I have personally had some credit card issues in the past and try to steer clear of them.  However, my capital one card is the only card I still have and use.  The rewards are pretty good.  I simply put my gas and groceries on the card through the month- pay it off at the end of the month and in the end I've gotten about $10 back in rewards.  Sounds like a good enough deal to me!

When I first started using this card I had some trouble receiving my statement and then they would charge me late fees.  The customer service reps were really good and cleared those off for me.

One thing I do not like about the card is that I can not make a payment over the phone without paying their fee.  I always make the payment online which works fine but I find it annoying that I can't just pick up the phone and pay it.  When I pay it online it takes about a day to apply it to my account and another day or two to draft it from my checking account.

One other thing that bugs me about it- I've had this card for over two years and can not get them to raise my credit limit.  I have always paid on time and above the minimum payment due, but I can't get them to raise my limit.

All in all, I'm satisfied with this card.  It suits me well and fills it's purpose well.
