Capital One - Platinium Master Card Reviews

I have been a capital one credit card holder since 2000 when i opened a secured credit card.  Gradually i have been offered up to 4 credit cards and have had one card platinum mastercard go to a high limt.  They have also lowered my Apr to 8.8 which can still go lower.  I got these offers in the mail after i have been a customer.  Otherwise I believe they are strict and only accept applicants with very good credit.  They have 24 hour customer service and have free online payments. Payments made before noon are credited the same businsess day.  they do charge $39 over credit limit fee. ...

CAPITAL ONE CREDIT CARD. since i have take tha credit card from capital one, i'm feel so comfortable. After only tree months, they increase my balance limit from $500.00 to $1000.00. That is very interesting. The only proble i have with this credit card and the others from differents banks, is the fees i have to pay every month the get information of my credit history. I don't thikn that i must pay for that service. if i have an advice to give to capital one and the others banking institutions, it's to give that service for free because they don't pay to get it, so i don't understand why we should...

This is a great card if you want to increase your credit score. I didnt have any credit when i got this card. Now i have a lot of credit score being high. I can apply for more credit cards and be accepted. You just have to make sure you have your due date payed or you will get a late fee. Which is not good. There was one time i was in the hole with this card. Im doing great now. I like it. It helps my credit now. Im glad i have the card. Its great when i dont have any money for a week and im broke. I wouldnt change it.

Capital One, like all credit card compamies, raised my interest rate when I paid late. I called and explained that I had inadvertantly done so, and they agreed to lower the rate and, without my asking, offered to give me six months to pay with no interest. Their customer service was outstanding, and I promptly switched all of my other balances to them in gratitude. In the current economic climate, I recommend careful research regarding monetary outlay, but Capital One has been the best choice for me.
