Capital One - No Hassle Miles Rewards Card —
Capital One has a terrible Customer Service track record. Their agents are rude and unhelpful. Also, expect a lot of false advertising from this company. They've gotten in trouble for it in the past with regulators (FCC, etc) and they continue their practices with no signs of abatting. Expect a lot of trouble using your card too. Did you change your address recently? You must send them recent utility bills as proof of address. Traveled abroad recently? Expect a freeze on your card indefinitely until you call. The agent will then ask you all kinds of trivial and irrelevant questions. And no you cannot put a travel alert on your card for very long and even if you do, they will put a freeze on your account. Want to access your account online? Expect all kinds of technical issues. Their agents will not be able to help you or it will take you more than 10 calls (average waiting time is around 15 to 25 minutes) before they can finally fix the problem. This bank is a lot of pain in the a** and they show that they could care less for their customers. If you're looking for a card like this with similar benefits, there are better mileage cards out there even with people from poor to excellent credit. AVOID CAPITAL ONE AT ANY COST. Consider yourself warned.
