Capital One - No Hassle Cash Platinum Visa —
BEWARE of this lending institution. I had three of their cards at one time. They were not high balance cards but the annual fees and terms border on predatory lending practices in my opinion. Finance charges often put your account over the limmit, which in turn creates additional fees. This becomes a vicious cycle as you can imagine. I went through this company because I felt my credit history was substandard. The bottom line is, go to your own personal bank or credit union. I was amazed to discover how reasonable their interest rates and fees were in comparison, and just as easy to obtain approval. If for some reason you cannot get approved at your own institution, they will work with you to help you become credit worthy at some point. Don't prejudge your credit situation until you talk with someone from your own bank or CU.Last edited on Dec 17, 2007
