This card was easy to get, but when I called to try to get a lower interest rate, they wouldn't budge. I had 3 years of solid payments, none late, and they wouldn't budge. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere.
I had some car repairs where I had to use this card and that ran up my balance. In trying to pay it off, I wanted to save as much money as possible. What consumer isn't trying to save money. I feel that good customer service is essential regardless of what business you're in. When they wouldn't lower my interest rate (21.5%), I felt I had no choice but to take advantage of another offer (0% for 6 months). You'd think that with so much competition with credit card companies, they would be more customer friendly. I guess Capital One doesn't need to be customer friendly as long as they get their money.
