An auto title loans are typically utilized by those that wish to obtain a funding with bad credit rating or no credit in any way. An auto-mobile title lending frequently called a vehicle title lending or merely title funding as well as pink slip funding's. You merely should have a vehicle that is paid off or nearly paid off and also you could make use of the auto title as security to obtain the cash money you require, enabling you to continue driving your vehicle while paying your loan.

Incompetence or fraud? Inflated interest charges

1

Capital One bought ING Direct. I was willing to give Capital One a chance to disprove a bad reputation. The chance is over. Capital One plunged my mortgage loan into chaos -- reversed payments, artificially inflated loan balance (and inflated interest charges), delayed payment postings, and incompetence. Do not do business with Capital One -- you will regret it. I was with ING Direct for more than six years with no problems. Capital One has destroyed the goodwill ING Direct built for years. Customer Service People are polite, but they will not solve problems. They take notes and refer the problems to another department. Tell customer to wait one to two business days for resolution. Six week later, I am still waiting for resolution.

When I paid the application fee, they agreed to close on 5th. Today is 9th, my file havn't gone to underwriter. I don't know when I can close. Their service is poor. The processor never pick up my phone. Her fax machine always have problems to skip my documents. What to connect to the processor is only through e-mail. But.....she does not responsed each time. When I need help, no one can give me a hand. Never go to capitalone! Now I am thinking to change a lendor.

Capital One needs to take to heart all of there advertisements.

I loved all of Capital One advertisements and there should be some compliancey inforcement agency that should insist upon them satisfying every customer based upon there advertised media. The public is tired of these gimmicks to lure them in for the kill. Hidden agendas should not be tollerated and it should warrant heavy fines when they don't live up to there media flash.

When applying for a home mortgage, Capital One was the way to go.  Not only was I facing a time crunch trying to close on my home in less than 15 days, but I was also doing everything remotely.  I was able to close on-time and with a lower rate offered by all other banks.  The advisor was extremely helpful and made sure that he requested everything from me that one time to cut down the back and forth transactions between us.  They were awesome and I would highly reccomend them!

Never use this company unless frustration is your goal!

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.  We were attempting to get a 1st mortgage on our home.  Our loan consultant, Pete Stewart, was unprofessional, lacked knowledge, did not follow through with anything, and refused to return phone calls.  We did everything that we were asked to do, immediately.  I couldn't even get a supervisor, Jason Lynch, to call back with even a courtesy call to let me know how the loan was progressing.  Capital One Home Loans was very quick to charge my credit card for the appraisal fee, and to put themselves on my homeowners insurance policy as the lein holder, even before the loan was approved!  I had to cancel the entire long, drawn out process and to with another company.  Don't let these folks waste your precious time.   If you've already tried to deal with them, make sure you dispute the appraisal fee charge on your credit card, as they don't provide the service that advertise.

Capital One, "Time is of the essence" in real estate.

Follow-up. Capital One should stick to auto loans and credit cards. I have one of each with them and they're great. Because in those businesses, a missed credit card payment means a mere surcharge. And a missed auto loan check means the buyer will wait a few more days before driving off in a new vehicle. However, in the home mortgage business, a missed deadline means movers / shippers need to be rescheduled at great cost, and the buyer's life is suddenly ground to a halt without a place to move into. Capital One Home Mortgage, this has been a trainwreck. As I predicted in my previous review, Capital One Home Mortgage was days away from missing escrow closing date. Today is the escrow closing date, and I have no keys in my hand. To my surprise, I explained to the Capital One Home Mortgage loan consultant that they were going to miss the escrow close date, and yet each time their loan consultant replied something to the effect of, "No, no, we're still steaming full speed ahead with the intent to close on the 30th". That was on the 29th by the way, and they still hadn't received the appraisal yet from the 2nd appraisal they ordered for the weekend. The usual advice is to never trust a loan consultant, and that is good advice. Why is it that the same voicemail for the same person answers every time I call Capital One Home Mortgage's number? I know they have more than one home loan consultant. Fire my current one and put someone in charge who knows how to handle real estate. For crying out loud I understand these people are based in Kansas and know nothing about a genuine real estate market such as San Diego, but a freakin' deadline is a DEADLINE. You shouldn't be asking me for last minute details the day before closing. Stringing me along to keep my business is simply deception. I'll talk to a real estate attorney.

Apparently deadlines mean nothing to them.

Capital One Home Loans advertists "Close in 10 days or less". Having transferred cross country and paying a daily hotel rate, I chose a lender that was "fast" to the best of my ability. I set an escrow closing date for the 30th of April, leaving almost a month in the worst case scenario. Well it is the 24th, with only 3 business days till closing date, and still no final loan documents have been transmitted from Capital One to the escrow/title company. It does not appear that Capital One understands how home loans work or the need to expedite in order to meet deadlines. Not only do they not live up to their advertisement of "Close in 10 days or less" they are three business days away from missing the escrow closing date. I do not have anything positive to say about Capital One Home Loans for mis-managing the appraisal and causing the need for a second appraisal to be ordered, completely wasting a week of progress and wasting another week of hotel rent. This group is incompetent. I could have gotten a lower rate elsewhere, but was sold on their online-connectivity and speed of processing. Nothing could be further from the truth. Not only is it difficult to reach my loan consultant by telephone, they appear to work short business hours and are often closed by the time I get off work.
