Cape Hatteras KOA Review

The campground was very nice.  There were activities planned for kids, as well as a playground area.  There are two pools and a hot tub for those that don't like the beach.  The camp store has just about anything you could want. 

The beach is only a short walk away, and it is very nice.  It is wide with plenty of sand for castle buidling and shelling. 

We stayed in a one room cabin which sleeps four.  The picture on the website makes the cabin look like it is about 20 by 20, when in reality it is about 10 x 10.  it was doable for two people, but four would have been pushing it. 

The staff was very friendly and did what they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible.  The cleanliness of the place was also very impressive.  The bathhouses were cleaned twice a day, and with four bathhouses in the campground, there were adequate facilities for the quantity of campers. 

 Cost-effective beach vacation if you enjoy camping.
