Canon pixma MP530 Review

My husband and I need to purchase a new printer because our old one didn't do everything I needed it todo for our small home office since I started to work from home.

I needed a scanner that I could use that wasn't difficult, a fax line that didn't have to be dedicated and a good printer for photos.

I will have to say we got all 3 of these things.  The printer isn't very big which I love. It is able to fit in next to our computer with no problems.  It is very very easy to use.  I scan picture, letters,art all the time and the resolution is VERY good. It makes very good copies in black and white as well as color.  I wanted something that I could use in my office day to day work but something I could use with making my art as well.  We had looked at other all in one printers but they were so expensive or they were just too big.

We bought ours for $49.99 @ Walmart on sale. The only draw back that I have found so far is the ink is a little on the pricey side and you cannot get the cannon cartridges at the discount ink places or the ink refill places.  It has to be Cannon but we did get the extended multi use ink and it works well. It was alittle more than the normal ink but you get alot more copies.

I printed 8x10 photos on it and someone asked if I had bought art prints....so for use it is a pretty good all round inexpensive but professional printer.
