This camera takes great pictures! There are some digital cameras that take forever before they will take a picture, this one isn't one of them. It's basically just point and click. It does have lots of features but for the most part, I never use them because it's so easy to just point and click. I have even take pictures of other pictures with it and the quality is really nice. It provides very sharp images. It has a great zoom that is really easy to use. I think the part I like best though is the big screen that you can see whatever you are taking a picture of on. It's VERY user friendly! It's also really easy to charge (charges really quick). I also like that you can easily move the pictures from the camera to your computer or to Facebook or wherever. The SD card just pops right out and fits into your laptop. If you don't have a laptop you just plug in the little cable that comes with it and it's just as fast. This is my 5th digital camera and by far my favorite! Portability Small and fits into a purse or pocket.

I've bought this camera based on the good reviews on the Canon brand itself as a premier camera manufacturer in the world. I expected this to be a solid camera and it didn't disappoint, I'm glad I've bought this camera. The picture quality taken with this camera is amazing, it's very sharp and its clarity beats my old Nikon camera that I've bought years ago to replace with this new Canon SD880 camera. The zoom is the weakest point of this camera, but if you aren't taking anything that's very far away, then it's an excellent choice for any close and mid range pictures as the picture quality and the details are amazing. The weight of this camera is also great as it isn't that heavy for this size of a camera. The battery life is also very good compare to other brands. For its price, it's definitely worth checking out for, but if you are looking to take pictures in a distance, this might not be for you. Otherwise, get this camera!

The Canon SD880is packs many preset features that allow for easy photography in various lighting situations. It is very small, which makes for extremely easy portability. It has 10 megapixels which allow users to take very large file photos that can later be cropped and still maintain quality. The fixed lens very wide for a point-and-shoot camera. The SD880is takes very high quality photos with the simplicity of using only AUTO mode. However, when conditions call for it or if you want to get creative there are many modes of photos you can choose from. For example, during the 4th of July we used the FIREWORKS mode to capture extremely nice photos of fireworks lighting up the sky. The colors were very rich and there was very little noise as the camera's preset function for this mode is to open up the aperture for a longer exposure to absorb the light. Battery life is very good. It's almost a non-existant issue as the battery would last a day or two worth of normal shooting. The only bit I have toward the camera is that it's flash is extremely powerful. It works wonders when it's pitch black, but when you only need a small amount of flash, it's absolutely overkill and just washes out the photos.

I have used this Canon product during graduation and I just recently developed the pictures although the graduation of some time ago. Because it is the digital camera there is no expiration datee of long time ago. I really like the fact because for people like me who like a lot is a very convenient and even necessary feature. All the graduation pictures came out looking fantastic. There were some pictures that were obscured but I do not think it is a camera fault. There was a picture for example I had a bit of a glare due to the sun and ange was just bad. Another picture in a bit of a blur effect and I credit that to the fact that I was in motion while taking the picture since I was in a hurry. But all the pictures where we stood stationary came out looking really good and I'm very pleased with his digital camera. I do not take very many pictures but after seeing the results I really do think that I should use it more often.

I have been using this camera actively for some time now, from taking pictures of my labrador retriever during hiking trips and taking pictures of snowboarding trips. This camera and other canon cameras of this size are perfect for excursions. The canon sd 880 IS is a high quality digital camera. the lense seems to be really good quality and with the exception of user error taken photos (like when I move the camera while taking a picture), I have never had a camera or lense induced problem. The price was reasonable for the benefits that it provides. The buttons are easy to figure out and you do not need to consult the manual unless you want to go into advanced features. For an easy to use camera with excellent lense quality, the digital camera is very good.

I think that it is a must to have a camera in life, especially with children! My mother bought me this camera for Christmas and i use it almost every day. It is a digital camera and the screen on the back is pretty large. I have no issues looking at exactly what i am taking a picture of. The price of the camera was on the high side, but i get a lot use out of it. The features it has are plenty and i can easily zoom in and out with this camera. When i travel, this camera is easy for me to move with because it is light weight and thin. The battery in the camera stays charged for a long time as well. I can even take macro pictures, and other picture sizes. Connecting the camera to my computer is easy to do when i want to upload them onto my computer.

The Canon SD880 IS Digital Camera is a perfect camera for any occasion. It is great at night, in the sun, house, lighting, etc. It is a multipurpose camera that we always take on vacations - and the pictures turn out great. It has virtually millions of settings to customize your photos, and also has advances features for the artsy fartsy me. I am very satisfied with the photo and video quality of this camera. It might take some getting used to to use, but after you get the hang of it, it'll be perfect for any occasion. It also is very compact, light, and quite durable. I've dropped it on a few occasions and is still good as new! Although a bit pricey, you pay for such a high quality item. Highly recommended.

I purchased the Canon SD880 IS digital camera for my trip overseas recently, and the camera has really impressed me with its capabilities and the quality fo its pictures. With multiple settings to allow you to capture the best possible image in just about any environment, there is no limit to the incredible pictures you can take with this camera. I was a little put off by the price, but realized that you get what you pay for, and this camera has more than paid for itself in the incredible pictures I've been able to take with it. The overall size is good, and it fits nicely in my pocket when I'm walking around. I'm also very impressed with the battery life, and find that I'm able to go an entire day of snapping lots of pictures without having to switch out batteries. Overally, I highly recommend this camera if you're looking for a mid-range digital that can provide excellent picture quality.

I love Canon cameras. They give you great products at good competitive prices. You cannot go wrong with any of those products. The SD 880 Canon camera is great. It has very good build quality. And the pictures it clicks is amazing. It looks very polished and very professional. It is really compact so you can carry it around with you always and not have to worry about it. It looks very sleek and if you have one you know a lot of people will be asking you about it. It is a little pricey though, so if budget is an issue then maybe this will not be the ideal camera for you but other than that I don't think it has any more problems. You can find some great accessories for it like cases and stands so it is definitely a complete product.

The canon SD880 is not a very bulky camera and it's a great point and shoot type of device. You aim, you take the snap, and you put the camera back into your pocket or your purse. I have a digital SLR and although the quality of the pic blows the SD880 out of the water, it cannot beat the SD880 in terms of ease of use and mobility. This thing is small and that is a convenience factor that the heavy digital SLR cannot compete with. I love what I paid for my SD880 and i think it's very affordable to the typical person. The screen on the back of the camera is clear and you can easily see what you're about to take a picture of, as well as the finished outcome once the snap has been done. I am very happy with this camera and would recommend it to anyone.
