Canon - SD780 IS Digital Camera Review

I received a Canon PowerShot SD870 IS for my birthday this past summer, and what a great gift it is! First of all, it's adorable and I got the red version - it also comes in silver, gold, and black. I'm no photography expert but this camera makes my photos look professional! I can't even tell you how many people have said "wow, nice camera" because it's so small and cute - and then when they see the photos it takes, they're even more impressed.

This Canon has really easy to use settings for someone like me who has only a passing familiarity with photography. The digital zoom is great and I particularly love using the digital macro setting to take photos of flowers and such.

Another great feature is that you can zoom while using the video camera setting! My previous camera (an earlier Canon PowerShot model) didn't allow for zooming while filming. Plus, this camera takes HD film and it looks really, really great.

Other settings I love are the aquarium setting and the fireworks setting. I've used both at the appropriate times and have gotten some really great photos. I highly recommend this camera - and I hear it's quite affordable to boot!
