Canon - S5 IS Reviews

Personally, I have always owned Canon cameras.  From my first 35mm, to my Advantix, my entry level digital to this new intermediate model.  I have owned the S5 IS for about 4 months and must say it takes fantastic pictures.  I upgraded to this one because I wanted the 12X optical zoom.  My entry level only had 3X.  My husband is into Nascar so we go to several races a year and the pictures with the 12X are SO much better.  I got great shots of Carl Edwards winning the Busch Series championship for my mother-in-law.  I haven't even begun to use all the… read full review »

This camera gives a lot at a reasonable price. I love taking pictures for my scrapbooking but I don't get into all the technical photo jargon. This camera gives you a lot of what you get with an SRL but in a much more user friendly way. It is easy to use and the user manual is very easy to follow.
