When I used several point and shoot Digital cameras they were nice, but I missed the ability to control what I did with my pictures like in the film days. Now that I've purchased the Canon XTi I am back in the saddle again. If I want to use it as a point and shoot, I can but I can also control what settings I want to if I choose to. Definitely well worth the money and of course one always needs more than one lens other than the basic. The telephoto is a must have also. Great buy.
