Canon - Rebel XTi Digital Camera Review

I was getting tired of the limitations of my little sony cybershot and missed the capabilities of my SLR film camera. I do love digital, though. I noticed many semi-pro photographers at a nature preserve I was visiting were shooting with Canon DSLR cameras. I started chatting with one of them and he told me about the Canon XT. He told me it was a compact DSLR, took excellent pictures and I might want to check it out. I started doing research and discovered that the XTi was going to be released in another month or so. I bought it at Costco and love it. It is so versatile, you can shoot beautiful portraits or snap some shots at sporting events. It has so many features that a year later I am still learning about all of them, but you can also just pick up and shoot. I've read that it's a good idea to buy the camera body and then buy a better lens, but Costco has such good prices that I bought it there and waiting a year and just bought a super-zoom.
