The Canon Powershot SX110IS is an amazing compact digital camera. It has a 3 inch LCD digital viewfinder, a 10x optical zoom, and 9.0 megapixels. I love the quality of the photos. The color it captures always turns out amazing.

The flash is manual...you must raise it manually when you want it to fire. At first, I thought this aspect of the camera would bug me, but it doesn't. I like being able to control the flash, instead of fighting to keep it from going off like I did with my old Kodak camera.

The computer software that comes with it is easy to install and it's incredibly easy to transfer photos...

My husband purchased this camera for me for Christmas and I have to say I love it.  My photos have improved since I learned how to use it.  Has a large viewing screen that makes it easy to center picture.  Auto functions are very easy, just switch dial to indoor, outdoor, pets/kids or manual.  Manual mode is simple to work too.  The different functions show up in the view screen and are easy to select.  I take pictures of jewelry so it's important for me to have a camera that can get good clear up close pictures using macro and select the right white balance.  You can also see your changes...
