The most durable digital camera I have ever owned! I have two small kids who love to take pictures with this Canon PowerShot! The on/off button is silver and easy to read with letters in all caps. The button to press to snap the pictures is to the right of the on/off button, can't miss it. As you click the on button, the camera lens comes out. The menu button is easy to read with white letters in a gray background. The quality of the pictures is outstanding, not professional quality though. If not in use for a few minutes, the camera will shut off. I have taken many video recordings on the Canon Powershot. The recordings look perfect when I download them on my desktop computer. I say this camera has nine lives because my kids and myself included have dropped the camera countless times. The camera never had an issue with delivering good quality photos and video recordings! The camera itself is compact and light, I have a camera case to store it. I recommend buying a case to protect it from bumping around in a purse. Image Quality Love my pictures. I snap a lot of pics of my kids. I value the image quality since I want to create the best tangible memories for my children as they grow up. Performance Canon has a solid reputation for performance! Ease of Use Simple Design, easy to use. Kid tested and approved! Durability It has been dropped more times than I can count and it is still ticking! Battery Life Has an average battery life, try to charge it biweekly.

After a lot of research, I settled on the Canon PowerShot SD960 IS and I couldn't be happier with it! I am still learning new things about my Canon Powershot SD960 IS every day. It has been a great improvement over my old HD for sure. If you've been holding on to an older digital camera for years, maybe it is time for an upgrade. Check out this Canon and I'm sure you'll be satisfied. Image Quality Photos are great quality and can be printed to very large sizes if needed. Even if you don't think you would print more than 8x10, having a camera that takes large pics is good because it allows you to crop or zoom in on a picture and still maintain quality. The camera takes Hi Def Videos at a good size. I take short clips and upload them to my website to share with friends and family and they look great. Performance Sometimes I feel like I have the perfect shot lined up, but the camera is waiting to get in focus or to get the flash ready and I end up missing the shot. I've learned I really have to be ready to catch certain shots. Ease of Use Photos can be taken easily with the Auto feature which determines what settings you need. I prefer to use the Program feature which let's me decide on the lighting, flash, distance, etc. I've learned a lot about what it takes to take a good photo by playing around with the various Program options. There are also some pre-set options like "Kids and Pets" (my favorite) and "Sunset" that help you get the right settings if you aren't sure exactly what you need. Durability It's been dropped and also thrown by my daughter a few times and it is still in perfect shape. Battery Life On vacation I often switch batteries every day and have to charge them both at night. I know I take a TON of photos but I wish one battery would last me all day! I think it is partially because I often have the camera on constantly while I'm waiting for the perfect shot. Portability It's Sleek & Slim as advertised and fits easily into my purse, sometimes even my pants pocket. The buttons are a little different since you use a scroll wheel, but after a few days of adjustment it becomes common sense to use. The screen attracts finger prints, but usually this doesn't interfere with taking photos so I just wipe it off every so often. The wrist strap hooks to the camera right where you have to access the USB plug - meaning that every time I go to transfer photos the wrist strap is just in the way. It seemed like a weird design to me.

Hello, I consider myself to be a relaxed person when it comes to cameras. This Canon Powershot camera is clearly easy to use and **hands down** the best/most favorite camera I have ever used. Why?? Well, I love that the lens doesn't stick out when I am viewing pictures. I like how it is very reliable, very-user friendly (specifically I like turning the "wheel" on the back of the camera to view from picture 1 to picture 2). Overall, easy to use, reliable and has a sleek look. Enjoy!

With a 28mm wide-angle lens, a 4x zoom, and 12 megapixels, this ultra-compact canon fits easily in my purse or pocket and takes amazing, high quality photos. On 'auto' this camera takes excellent photos with beautiful color and excellent exposure. You can choose from 18 different 'smart auto' scenes...and just about every scenario you can think of is covered. In the 'program' mode you can tweek things like ISO, white balance, light metering, and autofocus type. There are also some specialty scene selections such as 'aquarium, under water and portrait.' I've taken some video footage which is also very good. I have owned several canon cameras in the past so I am familiar with the placement of the buttons/controls. Overall, an excellent point and shoot!

I love this camera. My friend had one and told me about it when my old camera was going on the blink.. I got different color then here so that we wouldnt mix them up when we were together. pretty cool. Its awesome my son can take picture too when he is only 8yrs old. He loves it. being its very easy. Light weight , compact fits in your pocket. best camera every the other camera I had was terrible i had issues this one was user freindly right away
