Canon - PowerShot SD600 Digital Camera —

I got this as a gift last Christmas, and it was a nice replacement to my former clunky Kodak EasyShare. The Canon SD600 was a wonderful upgrade (and was a great value at under $200 w/ a rebate). For me, I am a point-and-clicker, but appreciate having a high quality product. The LCD screen is very large. There are many options for jazzing up your pics, such as intensifying the colors, black/white, sepia, monochromatic, etc. Downloading to my computer is very easy. It comes w/ a very small SD card, so I bought a 1G replacement which suits me fine.

What really impressed me was the service I received when I had a very unfortunate accident w/ my camera. I dropped it, which resulted in a misaligned lens and some frightening error messages. Customer Service was really patient, friendly, and helpful. They gave me a thorough explanation of what my options were and a step by step guide on what to do to send it in for repair. I was afraid that they would charge me for the repair service, since that is not covered under warranty...but to my surprise, it came back good-as-new and I was not charged a penny!
