Canon - PowerShot SD400 Digital Camera —
So..Before I recieved my Canon as a gift from my Mother, I had a Kodak, and before that a Sony. I loved my Sony - it was a $500.00 compact camera that took excellent pictures and was easy to use (espescially when switching from flash, video, effects, or panoramic). What had happened with that is my then 2 year old son got a hold of it and dunked it in a puddle of water forcing myself to buy a budget camera for school (online art classes) until I could I afford another wonderful shooter. Well, every parent knows that actually buying expensive products and risking them to the abuse of our young children may not be the smartest investment, and every stay at home mom knows that being under a single income budget doesn't allow $500.00 camera's to be bought ever so quickly - So when my other gave me a $250 gift card to Office Depot for my birthday I did my homework on which DigiCam I should splurge it on. I searched for weeks on the internet - bouncing between Nikons, Olympus, and finally set my sights on this wonderful Canon. I had it delivered overnight and started shooting away the second I opened and inserted the sim-card.The colors are vibrant.
The shots are shake-proof.
The auto-flash and video features are helpful.
And best of all - it comes with a quick rechargable battery - GOood bye special trips to Walgreens for triple and double AA's. ::)
The best camera I have had so far (even compared to the $500.00 Sony).
I am officially a Canon believer.
