Canon - PowerShot SD1000 / Digital IXUS 70 Digital Camera Review

This is the first digital camera that I have owned or even used.  Was a little bit hesitant switching from my reliable film camera to a digital one but I wasn't disappointed.  I've been using this camera for about a week now and it takes really clear pictures.  Yesterday I finally used the Night Snapshot feature when I went to look at Christmas lights.  It took very nice, clear pictures (and it was snowing at the time)  Every picture I've taken of people with this camera have absolutely no red eye.  In the past I've had a problem with that even when the camera claims to reduce red eye.  The camera came at a pretty reasonable price also considering the quality of the camera and pictures it takes.
