Canon - PowerShot SD1000 / Digital IXUS 70 Digital Camera Review

I spent a lot of time reviewing various digital cameras and the SD1000 stood out in all of the literature I read.  Technical reviews and user reviews seemed to consistently rate this camera high, so I bought one.

 I love the compact size and the ability to capture pictures and video.  I admit, I do not take advantage of the various settings, so my opinion is based solely on the my ability to point and click.  I'm not one to get bogged down in technical details I don't understand or don't apply to my use of a camera.

 I find the pictures to be great.  When I have them printed at Wal-Mart, I can't really tell the picture came from a digital camera.

If you are you are someone who simply wants a great compact camera to take some pictures and video of vacations or your kids, I think you'll like this camera.
