Canon - PowerShot SD1000 Digital Camera —
The past two cameras I have owned have been Kodak. I had my last Kodak for only a year and it broke and they wanted over $100 to fix it, which was crazy. So, I asked for a camera for Christmas.I did my research and decided on this one as it has gotten great reviews from amateurs and pros alike. I wanted something as small as my Kodak so this fit the bill. I am so happy with this camera. It is much more user friendly than my Kodak as far as the menus, etc. I get pretty good indoor shots, better than I did with my Kodak.
As far as the size some say it's too small but I disagree, I wanted something that I can throw in my purse and this fit the bill. It fits good in my hand and for the features and benefits I think it is perfect.
Since I just shoot family, friends, etc I don't care about manual controls and this is a great little point and shoot. I wish it has the image stabilizer but I played around with it and it does better than my Kodak did so I have no complaints. I highly recommend this camera!
Definately get a 1gig memory card though, the 32mb one does not do well at all!
