Canon - PowerShot SD1000 Digital Camera Review

The Canon Powershot 7.0 Digital Elph camera has gone beyond all of my expectations as a "point and shoot" camera.  On the Auto mode it works wonderfully for those that do not know much about taking photography but want good quality pictures of their pets, children and grandchildren or anything!

Not only does the Auto mode work well but the Manual mode has much to play with!  Fun color changing modes that we love to play around with.  A much much used "Kids & Pets" setting that can capture even the quickest running child! :) 

On top of the great setting options it has a 7.0 megapixel camera which is a pretty nice shot for a camera so small it can fit in your pocket.  It takes great video clips and can go as long as you need them to depending on how much memory you expand to (you don't have to though).  The sound on the video is great, I've had some smaller cameras where the voices sound horrible and this one is great!  

I've seen some reviews say "No night vision" and if you read the manual it has a great manual setting for night vision and the pictures are great!  We use it every summer for 4th of July, I've never seen such great pictures of fireworks before from a regular point and shoot. 

Overall the Canon Powershot Elph 7.0 is a great camera for anyone, in my opinion!
